We offer this discount for people jump in early so we will have an idea how well this season package sold before the season starts. Ask other handicappers where did they get their line. Once the line is correct, the stats is correct. The line is wrong, the stats is fake.

Thank you for your question. You are not the first one ask us this question. One of our customers asked us to give a price on yearly package for all sports. The other asked us to give a price for one month. (Both of them are buying everything now!) We figured out that the price will go very high. We cannot take the risk of losing (it happens!) because we have to refund huge money. The other consideration is a daily or weekly package of all sports. The problem is that we have to change the price day after day. On some day we have 3 pay picks (in MLB season), and on the other day we have 20 more picks (NBA, NCAA, NHL, NFL, NCAAF and DGP). On the other question, I agree with you. DGP is in a hot roll now, and it is our best product. However, we do not have any free term or refund on DGP monthly package. If you are in vacation, at least you need to have internet access to view our picks. We can mail a copy to a internet-based mail box (like yahoo! or hotmail) if you request. (7/11/2001) Hello Jeff and Ray: If you have some time, I have a couple of questions. I have been playing the sports betting game for a few years now, but this year is my first real activity with baseball. I am a "line watcher," and I know sometimes this works, and sometimes it does not. Getting to the question. Sunday, The pick was on the Diamondbacks. My on line sportsbook, started the line at-180, this game was bought down to -165 by game time. I did not bet the game. The day prior, with the play on the White Sox the game moved around from -135 to -140. I bet it at -138. Anyway, what does it take for the books to move a line that much in baseball? Are the online sportsbooks regulated and do they put the lines out and adjust according to the amount of money bet on an event? When you put your plays out, I watch the lines, carefully. If a big change happens, (like with Oakland and AZ), I either go the other way, or don't bet the game at all. What are your thoughts on this? Also, I have noticed over the past two months that the totals line for a game is almost exactly wrong. Not all the time, but over 90%. The money moves on the sides is about 75-85% correct. Please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you for your question. First, adjusting the line hurts sports book. Sports book is the one who hate to move the line the most. Why? Think if you have bet on D'back -160 for $1600, and later on the line moves to -190, you bet Dodgers +175 for $980 then you will be a winner no matter who wins the game. The sports book opened the line where they think it is median, which means people tends to bet equal money (related to the odds) on both side. Sports book would be forced to move its line when: (1) Too much money on the same side, or expected to be on the same side. (2) The other sports books moved their line. (3) For the coming news like whether change, injuries, line up, or others. (4) They decide to take one side and bet against bettors. (5) Other causes. If I need to analysis all of them I will need to write a book. However, the only thing that really has an effect on the result is the item (3). We always try to bet early because when the line moves later on, it usually moves to the side against us. We do not think the line move indicate a future win or lose on any of the teams. It only reflect what most bettors think. We do compare the lines before we bet. We shop around for the best odds. We do not wait. Wait normally cost us. First I apologize for this late reply. Both Ray and I were in Las Vegas this weekend, so we have no access to our e-mail either. Our work-study lady only do the routine work to update and mail picks. She does not reply questions. We are an internet based company so we do not have a company phone line open to public. There is an option that you can open an account with Yahoo mail or Hotmail so you will be able to access your e-mail on any computer. We can mail our picks to both of your e-mail account on specific days. Most of the hotels now have a business center where you can access the internet. We hope this helps. Never a person has ever say we choke them. Why do you think charging $39 for a (11-8) package is "choking" them? People who never try, never try. Who tried once, stay with us at least for quite a while. We are the only one company that put all history picks on the web site. (3/29/2001) I have a concern about your statistics, especially in hockey. I feel that your winning percentage is a bit biased. Your picks are usually for the favorites (example New Jersey Devils -1/2 goal at a money line of -150). When you lose this bet, it is equivalent to losing 1 and 1/2 games, not just one. Hockey should be treated just like you treat baseball (+ or - units). I am not saying that every pick you make is at a -150 money line, but most are at a -120 to -140 line. It is very rare for your picks to be for the underdog (+100 or higher). If you were consistent in mixing up your winning picks between underdogs and favorites, it would even out. But anyone in their right mind could pick over 50% of the games correctly if they bet on the favorite for the money line all of the time. The only problem with that is that you would always lose money overall no matter what your winning percentage was. I am going to give you an example of what I mean. From the time frame of March 22nd until March 28th, your combined record for NHL (free and pay picks) is 6-20. Not very good, but hey everyone gets in slumps. On your statistics page, that would count for 6 wins and 20 loses giving everyone the impression of -16.0 units. But in reality, the actual loss is 17.3 units (+ or - a decimal point or two depending on what line you received). That is more than 8% more than what your statistics show. So as you can see, your statistics are very misleading. Please see if you can change your statistics page so it tells the real units gained or lost.. One more point to make. How can you charge people $800 for your baseball picks when you did not have a single winning month all of last year in baseball? See what happens when you use the "unit" method for your statistics, the real performance rating comes out. Please respond, Is there a special rate to join the NHL and NBA for one month? (Mr. J.)

Thank you for your long time support and great questions. We definitely know what you mean, and you are absolutely correct on this. Anyone who has followed us for a while, knows that they need to purchase the NHL picks to get some real deal. As you may notice, our pay picks usually include some +100 or even better line, and very rarely was a pick worse than -120. Free pick is just for people to "feel the win"; for that purpose we usually put our pick of worst odds on free pick. We need to make money for package buyers, we need to pick the better lines. Our income is from pay picks, which we take a little more seriously than the free ones. As our NHL season comes great this year (not these days though) we have well gathered some consistent buyers. This may also answer your second question. We did not reduce the price of MLB package because it is of the same quality as our other packages, we have no reason to reduce the value because the last season lose. MLB season is long, and it takes huge effort. We make a lot more picks on MLB than on any other sports. Our NHL, NBA, and NCAA 2001 have gathered people who trust us. We have some customers for the season package. We lost last year and we refund all the customers; it does not mean we do any less effort. We do not think we can lose two seasons in a row, and that never happen before. We, like all sports bettors, have bad season. MLB last year is just one of them. NFL was another one. It does not matter how we calculate the units. A winning season is a winning season, no matter how to calculate it. Our customers are smart. You are much more smarter then people think of pick buyers. We use unit system on MLB just because it is hard to get 3 good picks within the lines from -120 to +120 (by which we think the win-lose calculation can well-reflect our record), but it is quite easy on NHL. Thank you for your comment. Since you are not in our member's list I suppose you followed our free picks. The free pick is our last choice of the day and we put it on the web for free. We sell the first 3 picks to paid customers. However, our record indicates that we have a (18-12) for December and (11-16) for January. That's a combination of (29-28). If you lose big big money on that record you need to think about your betting strategy. We suggest our customers to bet SAME AMOUNT of money on every pick we offer, and if you buy our package you do not need to bet the free pick. (29-28) is not a good record but you should not lose more than two units.

If you try to bet all winnings on the game next day, you will finally lose them all. I guess that's what happen, and I wish you to adjust your strategy and consider to be our package buyer. We both have day jobs and we won't quit them. Thank you again and wish you the best luck.

We do recommand the offshore sportsbook which has a banner or link to our website because we know at least they have paid us. I would like to tell you what we are doing, which is the best way that we can invest money on sports betting. Say, we have a bankroll of $10,000. When we lose up to this amount in a season, we will quit the season. We choose 5 different offshore sportsbook, and deposit $2,000 into each of them. We bet 2%, which is $200 (or $220 to win $200) out of $10,000, on any single game. That amount was fixed, and never change until we have $15,000. Then next, buy a monthly package of your favorite sports, or all the packages. For instance, if you like basketball and want to bet on NBA and NCAA, buy 1 month package of each of them. Plus the free pick, you will have 6-8 games to bet every day. The reason for deposit the money into 5 different sportsbook is for line comparison. If we pick Dallas -5 on a NBA game, you may find Dallas -5.5, -5, -4.5, in different sportsbook. Be sure to bet the best one, in this case it is Dallas -4.5. The one point difference makes huge difference, trust me. After one month, you have bet about 200 games in total. If we hit 55% of the games, which is our average, you win 110 games and lose 90. 110 times $200 subtract 90 times $220 is $2,200, which is your net profit. We must hit 55% in a long term, that's not a problem. $2,200 subtract the money you pay us, you still have about 2,000 in your pocket. Be sure that you never change your betting amount until you have $15,000 bankroll. Be sure that you keep betting when lose, and keep betting when win. We have been kicked out from some offshore sportsbook because of winning too much. We bet about $3,000 a game. Now we need to put them in 6 accounts and bet $500 each, so the casino won't kick us out. We started from $20 per game, 7 years ago.
